VMware vSAN

Select Version:

VMware vSAN™ powers the leading Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions helping customers respond faster to dynamic demands, reduce TCO and prepare for tomorrow’s IT needs. Uniquely embedded in the hypervisor, vSAN™ delivers flash-optimized, high-performance storage for Hyper-Converged Infrastructure. It leverages commodity x86 components that easily scale to drastically lower TCO by up to 50% and deliver all-flash solutions for as low as half the price of competitive hybrid HCI systems. Seamless integration with VMware vSphere® and the entire VMware stack makes it the simplest storage platform for virtual machines—whether running business-critical applications, virtual desktops or remote IT applications.

NEW! vSAN 6.5 delivers new capabilities that further help customers respond faster to dynamic business needs across a broader set of workloads while lowering total cost of ownership of your IT infrastructure.

Customers can expand to new, non-virtualized workloads with iSCSI support. The new 2-Node Direct Connect feature enables customers to save up to 20% per ROBO site by eliminating switches between 2-node deployments. The Full-Featured PowerCLI provides the scalability and ease of enterprise-class automation.
